I think I heard somewhere that after a certain season they started making the episodes with computers, so maybe it was season 4. Cuz it seems from then on the shows had consistant animation. Anyway...cool image!

Yes the animation is so much smoother looking color is a little bolder too and there is a slight stylistic differance that also occurs all this in season 4. I have to wonder if there was a change in artists or somesuch when they made the switch to computers. The charactors are all slighty thinner and taller and at times more realistic looking less like the manga. All the changes are good accept I hate the way they shade the noses in later eps it sometimes make the charactors look like scarecrows to me, and everyones ears stick out more! For those that are following the series on CN your still in the middle of, but getting closer to the end of, season 3 you'll see what we are talking about when you get to season 4 which is some where around 10 or so eps away as of today which is oct. 26.
